Credit Card Data
Credit card information is not kept on any computer at RV Real Estate. When
you place a credit card order on this website, only Authorize.net, receives
your credit card information. When we take credit cards on the phone, we use
the Authorize.net secure terminal. No other person receives this
information. Your credit card data is never stored on our servers, or
any other computer under our control.
Personal Data.
The information which you provide about yourself is not shared with any
other entity, sold as part of a list, or in any other way made availably to
others, except in the normal course of advertising business. If you choose
to not include your Email address or other contact data within your
classified ad copy we will respect your wishes. Interested persons will be
able to contact you only with form email. Information about you is
maintained on our servers and on other computers in our offices. This data
is not available to the public. It is possible that through illegal
electronic means some or all of this information might be obtained. We take
reasonable steps to secure this information and protect our computers from
attack.
Cookies
We make use of cookies to help us identify you in two ways. First if you
are using an Internet Service Provider (ISP) like AOL which frequently
switches servers (IP addresses) even during a simple data transmission we
set a cookie to maintain awareness that you are really a single client
computer during the course of each visit (session) to our Internet site.
Second, as a User of our advertising services we want to know, for security
identification purposes, when you visit our site. To be a User of our
advertising services you must have cookies enabled in your computer. If you

Email addresses
We are all victimized by SPAM. Spammers harvest Email addresses using
electronic robots, "bots", that roam the Internet. The Email
address you provided to us is maintained on our servers. It is not available
to these "bots" since your information is only inside
our server’s database. When a client computer requests to see your ad, it does not exist
in a static state like this web page. It is "dynamic" and
is literally constructed
from the database on demand, and "served" just to the
requesting computer. There really is no page on the site
from which to harvest your Email address
Sales issues
While this page deals with privacy issues that are important to us all, a
word of caution is in order. Please don't forget that if you make contact
difficult, your potential customer might loose interest. We suggest if you are
concerned, give some thought to alternative phone numbers and/or one of
the free Email services. Consider screening your calls with a
machine that displays numbers. It is good to be careful, but be available!
Interest can come from all over. You might look into a personal 800 number
for security and incentive, especially if you have several properties to sell.
